The action puzzler is a kind of hybrid between a puzzle and an arcade game that incorporates a really wide variety of ideas from different genres; not least the use of top-down stealth which accounts for 50% of titles in my Top 10. However, as well as the action platforming of Nimbus (which isn't really action platforming), the Match 3 of Galact Quest and Safari Venture (which aren't really Match 3) and the Lemmings-like qualities of Clones, Flockers and Zombie Night Terror, there are plenty with a type of uniqueness that meant they could easily have made their way to the Mixed Bag.
