Runners

Apart from Runner 2, which is a side-scrolling runner, we're mainly concerned here with games created using the chase-cam view that tracks you as you go hurtling down a track or tunnel without control over speed. The principle is the same: go as far as possible or reach the finish without crashing. Within this framework there is plenty of variety: some restrict you to lanes; some have you on the outside of a tube; some have expansive landscapes and some fire you down a tunnel. Runner 3 by the way is as kick-ass good as Runner 2.
