Hidden Object

Ever since Artifex Mundi turned Hidden Object Games into a hybrid with the point and click adventure, they pretty much cornered the market. The 9 Clues, Enigmatis, Grim Legends, Nightmares From The Deep, Queen Quests and The Secret Order franchises (to name but a few) are all fine examples; yet the Lost Lands series by Five-BN have done a pretty good job too. That being said, there are some such as the Gardenscape and Mystery Case Files series, along with Golden Trials and Letters From Nowhere, that offer a decent alternative by doing away with the adventure angle altogether and offer pure hidden object goodness.
