Top-Down Racers

Although they number very few, indie developers have done pretty well when it comes to the humble top-down racer. Step up the superb standouts in this genre: Little Racer Street and Reckless Racing Ultimate. This section was a struggle to make up the numbers, so as well as including Bang Bang Racing (not an indie title), I also had to draft in Reckless Racing from the Windows Store thus making it one of the few titles in my blog that's unavailable on Steam. Pressure Overdrive, meanwhile, by passing as a twin-stick shooter, recently got moved to the 2D Shooter section and was replaced by Ultimate Racing 2D.
